Catholics Vote To Press Charges Against Mormon Missionaries!

After this breaking news story, it appears now that there will be no charges against these three Mormon Missionaries (adults) will not face charges for the vandalism.

Like so many other crimes committed by Mormons, it appears this one also will be covered up, just like the vandalism against St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church here in Nauvoo last year. Sad but true!

But wait there have been rumors...that the vandalism was the work of the Three Nephites.

  1. Now it appears that there is more news. It wasn't three Mormon missionaries, but FOUR. Could that maybe mean the Mormon church was putting out false information all along? All Catholic Churches should now put up signs stating, vandalism welcome here, we forgive and we don't press charges.

  2. As I said before, it's awful what the missionaries have done, but Catholics are Christians and follow the law of forgiveness just as we do. Not every member of the Church is going to be perfect. We see problems amongst members and leaders of every faith. Apparently the Church made no attempt to cover any thing up because we obviously know about it and can watch the videos and read the news. I think the Catholic Church has taken a very mature stance on the situation as well as The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Instead of mudslinging and massive press coverage, they have chosen to do the mature, adult thing and resolve the matter with sincerity and swiftness. THAT is the Christian thing to do.

  3. David, the only reason the Mormon Church took any action was the negative press coverage they received. These boys simply acted out what they were indoctrinated to believe (Joseph Smith's First Vision): "I was answered that I must join none of them, for they were all wrong; and the Personage who addressed me said that all their creeds were an abomination in his sight; that those professors were all corrupt…” (Pearl of Great Price, Joseph Smith 1:19). These boys were simply following their "indoctrination!"

  4. Ha. No, I believe those boys were just being immature and obviously weren't thinking. There is nothing in our doctrine that tells us to destroy or vandalize churches. Once again you may want to read Article of Faith 11.
